Arizona Alumni Out of State

Did you know that girls learning to play hockey in the desert can continue to follow their dreams AND still get a good education? Five such girls that recently played hockey in Arizona are doing exactly that! They are Rachel Slogan of Tucson, Kendall Newell of Phoenix, Kristin Van Slyke of Scottsdale, Allie Johannsen of Flagstaff and Becca Mandel of Tucson..

We also have four other former players attending Prep Schools out of State. They are Kayleen Miller of Mesa, Sam Phillips of Fountain Hills, Jamie Villadolid of Phoenixand Kiley Yeakel of Scottsdale. Rachel and Kendal are playing for the Saint Cloud State Huskies and Allie is playing for Bemidji State Beavers in Minnesota.
Kristin is attending Connecticut College.

Becca is playing for Wesleyan University in Conneticut.

Kayleen and Sam are attending Shattuck St. Mary's in Minnesota and Jamie is in Connecticut while Kiley is attending Exeters in New Hampshire.

All of the girls attending college have also agreed to write a short summary of their experiences and share them with you all. When they are in town, they may just drop in at one of our practices!

UPDATE

Another former AZ Selects player has moved on "to the next level". Chelsea Wilkinson a former U16/19 goalie of our's, made the  varsity squad for the Univerity of Windsor Lancer's in Windsor, Ontario. Congratulations Chelsea!

Sept. 07

Brittany Squillante is playing goal for UMASS Boston Beacons. Congratulations Britt!
